Hello! We are Christine and Ashley. Thank you for taking the time to read our story.

We grew up together, attending the same middle and high schools. We did not speak to each other in school, although we had many of the same classes and even rode the same bus for a year! We started dating in college and have been inseparable since. We got married in 2016.

We believe a loving home is a happy home, so we put a lot of focus on maintaining a healthy and loving relationship through communication and actively participating in the other's life.

I am an only child, and my parents were always loving and supportive. My father was extremely hands-on; one of my earliest memories was him picking me up from school and going straight to the beach, where I would ride his back as we searched for shells. He was always involved in my childhood, from coaching me through sports and all the neighborhood kids loved him. My mother was just as supportive and was always there, helping me through school and taking me to practices. I was the youngest of two girls. My parents were the best growing up. My mom was so nurturing and loving. My father was able to work around his work schedule to be there to chaperone any field trips, volunteer at our school, or help with anything we needed. He was our "Class Dad" for most of our time in elementary school! My sister and I were opposites in almost every way, but we were also inseparable. We did everything together- created dances, made plays and songs, played house and school, etc. We vacationed together every year, traveling to many places that most dream about. I am...

Austin is the light of our lives. He will be turning 2 in February 2023. He loves to read, and has a few favorite books we read every night. He is a boy's boy and loves anything with wheels. He loves trucks and cars, but when he sees a bus he lights up! We do not have many electronic toys, so it is so fun to watch Austin's imagination at work! He is very shy at first, but once he warms up to you, he will hug you to pieces! He has a few friends that have been in his life since he was born, and loves to interact and show them how to play his game. He is so sweet and gentle with our two dogs...

We live in a beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood in Florida. There are many children in our neighborhood, and they are constantly outside, running and playing with friends. Our neighborhood loves to host block parties many times a year where we all go out into our yards and mingle with each other. There are many kids around our son's age that he plays with and waves to as we go on our nightly walks. We are zoned to a computer science magnet public elementary school.

Our home is full of activities that invite imagination- we have an art table that our son spends many hours at...

Both grandmothers live minutes away and are excited to be a part of a child's life. The grandmothers love to visit and experience our son's life at least twice a week usually more! Ashley is an only child, and Christine's only sister passed away unexpectedly in October 2019 from medical complications.

We have friends who have become family and are eager to get a new "niece" or "nephew" to spoil and to love the way aunts and uncles do. Christine's father lives a few hours away, ready to be the best grandfather. He loves to fish and can't wait to have that special quality time...

Christine is an avid reader, and she has passed on that love of reading to our first child. The nursery is already stocked with over 200 books! We can't wait to have family snuggle time with a sibling and read our family's favorite books every night.

Ashley is a handyman at heart, and he loves to fix and build things regularly. He loves to share that experience with our son, who even has his own workstation in the garage!

As a family, we love to travel. We have family all over the state of Florida that we visit regularly. We visit theme parks and attractions monthly....
